During our Adult Try It Nights, we invite all beginners to join us and give it a whirl, whether you've always been curious about the pottery wheel or you simply want to try something new, this event is perfect for you.

 

Please note that space is limited, we can accommodate only 4 participants per session so make sure to reserve your spot in advance!

 

We offer 2 options:

For just $55 per person you can have your own wheel and the opportunity to create a cup or bowl shape* in this 60 minute session. You pay a non-refundable deposit of $10 in advance to to lock in your spot, the balance is payable in studio on the night of the event.

For just $90, two people can share one wheel with the opportunity to create up to 2 unique pieces total* in this 60 minute session. You pay a non-refundable deposit of $20 in advance to lock in your spot, the balance is payable on the night of the event.

THINGS TO KNOW:

​

*We like all participants to know that you are purchasing an experience. We do not guarantee that you will make a fire-able piece of pottery during the session. In the event you are not able to make a viable piece during the session, you will be invited to choose from a variety of pre-thrown pieces that you will be able to decorate with glaze.

​

If our instructor determines your thrown pieces have a likelihood of making it through the firing process, then they will be allowed to dry before the first firing. Once fired you will be invited back to paint them before going through a second glaze firing. The entire process can take between 3-4 weeks before your final project is ready for pick up.

If you throw more than one piece that you would like to keep, you can pay to have it fired (including the glazing and 2nd firing) for an additional $15 per piece.

 

BEFORE REGISTERING, PLEASE READ:

• This experience is for ages 16 and up.

• The throwing part of this experience is 1 hour long

• No open toed shoes

• Fingernails will get dirty and may break

• Wear Comfortable clothing that you don't mind getting dirty

• No loose jewelry, or things hanging in any way

• No rings

• Long hair should be tied back
